• This course provides basic theoretical knowledge and practical guidance on conducting a community paediatric assessment of a child including developmental examination, assessment of a child with a disability, the current frameworks for Child Protection and Looked After Children and procedure and practice for working with school age children.   
  • The course also covers, speech and language therapy, Autism, enuresis and DCD. 
  • The course is open to Paediatric Specialist Registers, SHOs and new staff grade paediatricians.   
  • The course runs twice a year in March and September will provide a good overall induction to working in community paediatrics. 
  • Cost: £60 per day or £200 for all four days.
