Abstract Submissions
Abstracts are a vital part of the BACCH ASM and offer an opportunity for delegates at all levels to share their research at a national conference.
The prizes for best poster and best presentation by a non-consultant will be announced at the end of the event.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. We aim to be in touch with all applicants by 15th August.
Registration
In-person and virtual attendance available:
- In person: lectures, abstract presentations, afternoon workshops, posters, annual dinner and catch up with colleagues
- Virtual: lectures and abstract presentations only
Bookings
- Use the form at the bottom of the page to book delegate places and tickets for the annual dinner.
- There is no one-day option for virtual tickets, only for in-person.
- You need to be logged into your user account to buy discounted member-rate tickets (Not a member? You can join BACCH today).
- The medical students/FY doctors' rate is only available for members – if you are not a member, please apply to join for free and once you application is approved you can book at the discounted rate.
- Booking deadlines:
- In-person tickets: 22nd September
- Annual Dinner: 22nd September
- Virtual tickets: 26th September
- We do not issue invoices. Payment needs to be made using the online form and the booking and payment confirmation emails act as your receipt.

Cancellations and Refunds
- No refunds will be given for non-attendance or cancellations received after 20th September for in-person tickets and annual dinner, or 27th September for virtual tickets.
- Cancellations received prior to this date will be eligible for a full refund, minus card processing fees, please contact us via email.
- Delegates may make arrangements for a substitute to attend in their place at any time with no cost incurred by contacting the BACCH office.
Venue and Accommodation
The venue for the 2025 ASM is the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Wollaton Street, Nottingham NG1 5RH.
Public Transport
The nearest rail station is Nottingham (0.8 miles). The nearest tram stop is Royal Centre (0.3 miles).
Parking
The hotel has an on-site 600-space car park which delegates can use at a discounted rate of £5 per day. Blue badge holders may park free of charge at on-street parking meters and on-street pay and display areas.
Room Booking
You can book rooms at a discounted rate at the venue via the booking platform set up by Meet Nottingham, which also has two other hotel options available. Please book as soon as possible if you intend to use the booking platform, as the hotel will shortly be releasing any unbooked rooms back to general sale.
