The Senses and Environmental Factors

Join colleagues in the South West to share learning, connect, and discuss presentations associated with the five senses, with a chance to hear what services across the South West are doing to meet local needs. 

Where? Hybrid. Online and in Bristol, The Greenway Centre, BS10 5PY

When? 4 November 9am - 4.30pm. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. 

The programme? Throughout the day, there will be abstracts and expert talks, including: 

  • Deaf children with mental health needs: Exploring the service and complex case presentation by Dr Reenee Barton, Consultant Psychiatrist Deaf CAMHS
  • Developmental language disorder by Laura Pearce, Principal Speech and Language Therapist
  • Overview of cerebral visual impairment and its relevance to community paediatrics by Dr Cathy Williams, Professor of Paediatric Opthalmology
  • CYP Gender Service South West by Dr Lindsey Mackintosh, Consultant Paediatrician
  • A dieticians approach to ARFID by Kathryn Cockerell, Dietician, University Hospital Bristol
