Tuesday 16 June 2026 | RCEM Octavia House, 54 Ayres Street, London, SE1 1EU
Face-to-face event | RCEM accredited for 6-CPD points
Introduction
This event is aimed at those who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge in managing adolescents in the ED – a hugely important, often marginalised, but increasingly visible group.
Building on The forgotten tribe, RCEM’s established foundation study day on adolescent EM, this event will also offer practical support and help to those wishing to enhance their own departments with help from established experts in the field.
Please note, registration for this event will close on Tuesday 9 June, but may close earlier if capacity reached.
Learning objectives:
To build on existing knowledge in key clinical areas (ie challenging behaviour, sexual assault, medically unexplained physical symptoms, trauma)
To further develop an approach to managing adolescent patients across departments and organisations (ie with primary care, community services, CAMHS etc)
To discuss and inspire real life service development
