Please join us for the second webinar in our series on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), following the joint webinar hosted by the FPH Alcohol Special Interest Group and Children and Young People Special Interest Group (BACAPH) in September.
This webinar will explore the identification, assessment and support of children, young people and adults living with FASD.
We are delighted to welcome Professor Raja Mukherjee, who leads the UK’s national diagnostic service for FASD and is a recognised international expert in the field. Professor Mukherjee will discuss the impact of prenatal alcohol exposure on learning, memory, emotional regulation and behaviour. He will examine how education, health and other agencies can work collaboratively with families to provide effective support, improve quality of life and reduce future risks.
Drawing on his extensive experience, Professor Mukherjee will also reflect on current practice, assess how well services are meeting the needs of individuals with FASD, and outline a blueprint for future improvement.
