SACCH Conference & AGM 2023 (Stirling & online)

The conference theme is UNCRC in clinical practice and will be held on 3rd Nov 2023 at Stirling Enterprise Park (STEP), John Player Building, Players Road, Stirling FK7 7RP. 

The day will run from 9am-5pm and will include the following topics:

• Generation Scotland - The right to be heard and Children's participation in research. 
• Children's Health Scotland  -  Children and young peoples rights in healthcare
• Public Health Scotland (joined by colleagues from NSS) - Improving national data on children with disabilities to support rights and reduce inequalities
• Play Scotland  - The importance of the right to play for development
• The Scottish Child Interview Model team - Supporting children with communication difficulties
• The Children and Young Peoples Centre for Justice (based at the University of Strathclyde) - Upholding the rights of children who are in conflict with the law
• There will also be presentation of winning abstracts and a chance to meet colleagues from across Scotland.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided for those who attend in person and there is the option to attend virtually.

Cancellations

• No refunds will be given for non-attendance or cancellations received after 31 October
• Cancellations received prior to this date will be eligible for a full refund, minus card processing fees, please contact us via email.
• Delegates may make arrangements for a substitute to attend in their place at any time with no cost incurred by contacting the BACCH office.
