Convenor & Assistant Convenor

Assistant Convenor (until autumn 2024 - date of AGM)

  • Represent BACCH at external organisations as appropriate (e.g. BACD Exec Cttee, Paediatric Audiology Working Party) 
  • Other delegated work as required
  • Becoming Convenor after two years
  • Trustee and Company Director
  • Member of BACCH Executive Committee (four meetings a year) and Council (two meetings a year)

Convenor (2024-2026)

  • Supporting the BACCH office in the day-to-day running of the organisation and also linking with other external organisations.
  • Attendance at meetings to represent BACCH.
  • Policy development
  • Links with voluntary agencies
  • Coordinating and distributing requests from NICE and other consulting bodies
  • Coordinating BACCH’s response to documents and distributing as necessary
  • Regular column in each edition of BACCH News
  • Trustee and Company Director
  • Member of BACCH Executive Committee (four meetings a year) and Council (two meetings a year)

  • You should be a current member of BACCH or willing to join.
